WEARING BOOTIES FOR THE “IN BETWEEN” SEASON

It’s been VERY hot out but you can definitely tell that fall wants to come soon! I’m already racking all the fall outfits in my head I’m going to wear this coming season. I know, I know, that probably sounds weird.  What can I say fashion is always on my mind.

One thing I always look forward to when the weather get chilly is boots! I love boots. My dad is constantly asking me, “Do you have to have so many?” No dad, I don’t. But I do.. Boots are a great essential.  They are a classic for a cold weather wardrobe. There are also sooo many different types of boots.  My favorite are knee high, suede ankle booties, and riding boots.

The mornings have been feeling like fall with a chilly breeze. So I’ve already been wearing booties. It’s too hot to wear higher boots so booties are the perfect shoe to wear for this “in between” season weather. These pictured are suede ankle booties. I used to HATE them! They looked too bulky with my short body. But, just like most things I don’t like, I got used to them.  I realized they go with just about everything.  You can wear booties with long pants that go over the top, skinny jeans tucked in, cropped pants, shorts, skirts, and even dresses. How can you have that one thing that can go with EVERYTHING not in your closet?!

Marc Fisher Ulani: Very pricey.  But it’s VERY good quality. I bought the light pink pair and I can’t wait to wear them this fall.  They are absolutely gorgeous and sleek.  If  you bought these during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale you scored huge because they went up big time in price. If you didn’t, try next year, or invest in them now! I bought them during the sale, and that should help my mom sleep better at night.

I have to mention that this top is $17!!  It has ruffle sleeves AND the cutest collar. It comes in 7 other colors, its eligible for Prime, and did I mention it’s under $17?! I also wore it in floral here.
