A FAIR ISLE SWEATER – A Silk Scarf

A FAIR ISLE SWEATER

I made fish tacos last night for dinner and they turned out SO good. My sister and I had thirds! It was my first time cooking cod and I can’t believe how easy it was. The dinner overall took 30 minutes to make. BONUS!

Do you think she’ll be mad if I made it again tonight ☺️ (Head to my Instagram stories for recipe!)

It was 70 degrees all last week!  I can’t believe it’s mid November and I was walking outside in the morning without a coat on. Blowing my mind.  I still wore chunky sweaters because I wasn’t letting the weather take those cute warm clothes away from me! Even if by the afternoon I was sweating bullets. But, today was the gloomiest it’s ever been this season. AND IT SNOWED!

This sweater was in my shopping cart so fast when I saw it! The design is called Fair Isle. Fair Isle is a knitting technique used with two (or more) colors. The pattern is named after an island in Scotland, where it was discovered, called Fair Isle! This traditional design is worn during the winter months because of the bulky yarn used. Which is why we tend to wear them more for the holidays.
