FAUX FUR OUTERWEAR

I have always wanted a faux fur coat but haven’t taken the plunge to buy one. So, a vest will do for now! I love this faux fur vest because it matches with brown, black, and gray. This is the only full fur thing I own and now I want more fur things. Why can’t I be happy with just one?! UGH.

One of my favorite things about this vest is the fact that you can wear it in many different outfits. I actually had on a completely different outfit this morning and ended up changing. I wore it with this dress and these heels. This black dress (under $75!) would also look great with a fur coat or vest.

I’ve been waiting for this coat to go on sale for so long! It’s not fur it’s sherpa. But, Banana Republic’s quality is superb and they did such a great job at making it look like fur. This coat will for sure be on my Black Friday shopping list! Doesn’t it look so cozy? I also adore this coat because it’s just so basic. It looks like an everyday coat. You could wear it dressed down without looking fussy, with jeans and sneakers! This ombre vest is absolutely stunning! It’s pricey and would definitely be worn dresssed up. How gorgeous would that look under your New Year’s Eve black dress and black tights? Oh my! Is that on my Black Friday list now too?!

The only downside to wearing fur or faux fur is that it does need to be drycleaned. There is an alternative, by hand washing it yourself. If you have the time for that…

I have a white wool coat from my grandmother that she wore when she was my age. The collar is pure lush white faux fur. I handle it with such great care. I don’t wear it if I know I’m going to a “rowdy” bar and I have it dry cleaned regularly. Do you own faux or real fur? How do you wear it? Comment below!
